Put your palate to the test with a fun and interactive blind tasting of Chardonnay and Pinot Noir with owners, Molly and Dan Lokteff.
For the Chardonnay wines, we’ll explore how different levels of oak can completely change the style of the wine…from bright and crisp to rich and creamy. Same varietal, totally different personalities.
For the Pinot Noir flight, the focus shifts to the vineyard. Taste through wines from different vineyard blocks and Pinot clones to see how subtle changes in location and vine selection can create surprisingly different expressions of Pinot Noir.
No wine expertise required — just bring your curiosity (and maybe your competitive side). Whether you guess correctly or not (we will see how many Dan gets!), it’s a great way to discover what styles you naturally gravitate toward while enjoying some delicious wines along the way.
Please arrive at 1pm, or a few minutes early, as we’ll be walking down to the grove together right at 1pm. Be sure to wear comfortable shoes for the vineyard, and bring an extra layer in case it’s a bit cool under the redwood trees. Lite charcuterie will be served.
